A. In delivering Alternategear’s goods, Australia Post. Speed Post & Courier are responsible. Express post within Australia normally takes 1 to 2 business days to deliver. The charge is $12.50 flat rate. This is not a signature item and the product is not insured. This is a fast, safe and reliable service. Please note some large items cannot go in an Australia post express bag so they will take longer to reach you, for example - laser light, reflective sheeting etc

Registered post takes 2-7 business days to deliver. The charge is $15 flat rate. This is a signature item and the product is insured. This is a reliable service but delivery takes longer. When you choose this option your order may take an extra 3-4 days to arrive. Shipping times do not include manufacturing and handling times. Most of our items are custom made to order or drop shipped. Delivery time for most brands and styles are outlined under point 3 (FAQ and sizes) and in some cases under the product description.

International deliveries may take 10 to 14 business days before the item(s) is delivered. The newly introduced cheaper mail service to Europe can take anywhere between 2 and 4 weeks to reach you once we ship. We use a combination of Australia post, Speedpost & Courier (some items to USA only) to deliver. Cost is calculated by weight and destination. Australia post delivery has no tracking but is secure. You may request a faster courier service to your destination additional charges will be applied. .

Please take note that delivery times are estimates. Delivery of your order could take less or more time to reach you. If you would like to receive the item(s) at an earlier time, faster courier services are available for an additional charge. If delays occur, Alternategear will not be responsible. These occurrences are beyond our control. If your item(s) has arrived, but you weren’t home, the delivery man will leave a note, telling you when and where you can pick up your package. If you are away for a long time and did not get the chance to claim your package from the post office, the item(s) will be returned to us. We can send the item(s) again as soon as we receive them. You will be required to pay the shipping fee for a second delivery.

B. If you decide to have us custom make one of your designs, we will acknowledge that this design belongs to you and you have given us the right to create the design for you. In case of claims due to patent, copyright, or trademarked design, you will be fully responsible for this.

C. We follow the rules and fill out all necessary customs forms properly. Though gift option is selected on the customs forms we cannot guarantee shipments sent as gifts will be exempt from customs charges. We have no control over this and any consignment held at customs. We are unable to contact customs overseas regarding something we have sent. We can put in an enquiry. This usually takes 2-3 months but we cannot assure successful completion of tracking and delivery of the item safely to you. You need to contact customs and as the recipient.
 

Brand & Delivery

Alternategear has an exciting range of nearly 2000 products. Contact us if you need an item for a specific date. Majority of our products are made to order. The times below are estimates.

C-ouch 3-4 week delivery.

C-Dog 3-4 weeks. We have limited stock ready to go.

S-Tribe may take up to 6 weeks. Some items are kept in stock.

T-Tag may take up to 3 weeks. Some items are kept in stock.

Schminke - Phat pants take 3-4 weeks, gators, skirts, girls’ tops & hoodies take 1-3 weeks.

Crankypants - Phat pants, custom hoodies, Alternategear merchandise and suspenders can take anywhere between 4 and 5 weeks

Reflective materials are in stock and we can ship them 5 business days.

Refund policy

As long as the item(s) are unused, unwashed and undamaged, we are glad to exchange them with a different size unless they are custom made items ( Custom made items - phat pants, hoodies, suspenders, leg warmers and some skirts ). We exchange or refund custom made items if we have made an error and/or product does not match the description provided they are once again unused, unwashed and undamaged. If the error is yours we can try and help you sell the item through our site (make sure it is unworn as we will not be able to take it back if it appears worn ). Once we recover the money we will make another one and ship it to you. If you cannot wait till we sell it you can pay us and get a replacement straight away. We still refund you after we sell it. We cannot tell you how long this will take.


Be sure to return the item(s) within 30 days from the day you receive the order if you are overseas and 14 days if you are in Australia. You will be responsible for the postage cost unless we have made an error. Choose carefully, ask as many questions as you wish about fit, colour etc. Make sure you have added our email to your safe list so we can contact you re measurement etc if the need be. No refunds offered for change of mind.
